Contractor Terms of Service

1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Contractor Terms of Service (“Contractor Terms”) govern the relationship between you (“Contractor”) and AFKzona Group MB (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of the Statum platform (“Platform”). By registering as a Contractor on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Contractor Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any supplementary policies referenced herein.
If you do not agree to these Contractor Terms, you must not register or use the Platform as a Contractor. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Definitions
“Contractor”
An independent service provider (e.g., plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, general maintenance specialist) who registers on the Platform to receive and fulfill work orders from Clients.
“Platform”
The Statum software application, website, and related services operated by AFKzona Group MB that connect Contractors with Clients for building management and maintenance services.
“Client” / “Customer”
A bendrija (homeowners’ association), property management company, building administrator, or other entity that uses the Platform to manage properties and request maintenance or improvement services.
“Work Order”
A request for services submitted by a Client through the Platform, specifying the scope, location, timeline, and other relevant details of the work to be performed.
“Platform Fee”
The percentage-based commission deducted by the Platform from each completed Work Order payment, as determined by the Contractor’s current Tier level.
“Tier”
The Contractor’s performance classification (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond) determined by their rolling performance rating, which governs the applicable Platform Fee rate.
3. Contractor Registration & Verification
To register as a Contractor, you must complete the registration form and provide accurate, current, and complete information including but not limited to:
- Full legal name and business name (if applicable)
- Valid contact information (email address, phone number, business address)
- Professional qualifications, certifications, and trade licenses
- Proof of valid insurance coverage (liability and, where applicable, professional indemnity)
- Tax identification number and VAT registration (if applicable)
- Service categories and geographic coverage area
We reserve the right to verify any information you provide and to request additional documentation at any time. Your registration may be approved, denied, or suspended pending satisfactory completion of our verification process. Providing false or misleading information constitutes a material breach of these Contractor Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
You are responsible for keeping your profile information current. Failure to update expired licenses, certifications, or insurance coverage may result in suspension of your account.
4. Platform Fee Structure
The Platform charges a performance-based commission on each completed Work Order. Your Platform Fee rate is determined by your current Tier level, rewarding consistently high-quality service with lower fees:

All new Contractors begin at the Bronze tier. The Platform Fee is calculated as a percentage of the total Work Order value (inclusive of materials and labor as invoiced) and is automatically deducted before payment is disbursed to the Contractor. The applicable fee rate is the rate in effect at the time the Work Order is marked as completed and confirmed by the Client.
5. Tier System Mechanics
5.1 Rating Dimensions
After each completed Work Order, Clients are invited to rate the Contractor across five dimensions, each scored on a scale of 1 to 5:
- Quality: Standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Timeliness: Adherence to agreed schedules and deadlines
- Communication: Responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism in interactions
- Value: Fairness and transparency of pricing relative to work delivered
- Professionalism: Conduct, appearance, cleanliness, and respect for property
5.2 Composite Score & Rolling Average
Your composite score is the equally weighted average of all five rating dimensions per review. Your Tier is determined by your rolling average of the most recent 100 reviews. If you have fewer than 100 reviews, your Tier is based on all available reviews.
5.3 Tier Thresholds

5.4 Tier Reassessment
Your Tier is recalculated after every completed and rated Work Order. Tier upgrades take effect immediately; tier downgrades take effect at the start of the following calendar month, giving you an opportunity to improve your rolling average. The Platform reserves the right to adjust tier thresholds with 30 days’ written notice.
6. Work Order Acceptance & Completion
Work Orders are presented to Contractors based on service category, geographic area, availability, and Tier standing. You are under no obligation to accept any Work Order. However, once accepted, you agree to:
- Complete the work within the agreed timeline and to the standard described in the Work Order
- Communicate promptly with the Client regarding scheduling, scope changes, or unforeseen issues
- Provide an accurate and itemized invoice through the Platform upon completion
- Mark the Work Order as complete in the Platform and obtain Client confirmation
Repeated failure to complete accepted Work Orders, excessive cancellations, or pattern of no-shows may result in account suspension or Tier demotion. You must cancel an accepted Work Order at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time except in cases of genuine emergency.
7. Payment Terms
Payment for completed Work Orders is processed through the Platform as follows:
- Upon Client confirmation that the Work Order is satisfactorily completed, the invoiced amount enters the payment processing queue
- The Platform Fee (per your current Tier) is automatically deducted from the gross amount
- Net payment is disbursed to your registered bank account within 14 business days of Client confirmation
- In the event of a Client dispute, payment may be held pending resolution (see Section 17)
You are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, social contributions, and fiscal obligations arising from payments received through the Platform. The Platform does not withhold taxes on your behalf. Invoices and payment records are available in your Contractor dashboard.
8. Contractor Responsibilities
As an independent Contractor using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You hold all licenses, permits, and certifications required by Lithuanian law and applicable local regulations to perform the services you offer
- You maintain adequate professional liability insurance and, where required, workers’ compensation coverage
- You will perform all work in compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
- You will use materials that meet or exceed applicable quality standards and specifications
- You will maintain a clean and safe work environment and will not endanger residents, property, or third parties
- You will not subcontract Work Orders accepted through the Platform without prior written approval from the Client and notification to the Platform
- You will treat all Client information and property access details as confidential
You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or partner of AFKzona Group MB. Nothing in these Contractor Terms creates an employment relationship, joint venture, or agency arrangement.
9. Ratings & Reviews
The rating system is central to the Platform’s quality assurance. Clients may submit ratings and written reviews within 14 days of Work Order completion. Ratings are subject to the following rules:
- Ratings are based on the five dimensions described in Section 5.1
- Written reviews must be factual and relevant to the work performed; defamatory, discriminatory, or abusive content will be removed
- Contractors may respond publicly to reviews within 14 days of the review being posted
- Contractors may flag reviews they believe are fraudulent, retaliatory, or factually inaccurate for Platform review
- The Platform reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our content policies or are confirmed to be fraudulent
Attempting to manipulate ratings through fake reviews, incentivizing positive reviews, or coercing Clients constitutes a material breach and may result in immediate account termination.
10. Data Processing
10.1 Data We Collect
In connection with your use of the Platform as a Contractor, we collect and process the following categories of personal data:
- Identity and contact information (name, email, phone, address)
- Business and tax identification details
- Professional qualifications, licenses, and certifications
- Insurance documentation
- Work Order history, performance ratings, and review content
- Payment and banking information
- Platform usage data and communication logs
- Geographic service area and availability preferences
10.2 Legal Basis & Purpose
We process your data on the basis of contractual necessity (performance of these Contractor Terms), legitimate interest (platform integrity, fraud prevention, quality assurance), and legal obligation (tax reporting, regulatory compliance). 10.3 GDPR Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port your data, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@afkzona.lt. We will respond within 30 days.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, design, branding, logos, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of AFKzona Group MB. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform solely for the purposes described in these Contractor Terms.
Content you submit to the Platform (e.g., profile information, portfolio images, review responses) remains your property. However, you grant AFKzona Group MB a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the operation of the Platform.
12. Insurance & Liability Requirements
You must maintain, at your own expense, the following insurance coverage throughout the duration of your registration on the Platform:
- General liability insurance with minimum coverage of €100,000 per occurrence
- Professional indemnity insurance appropriate to your trade and service scope
- Workers’ compensation insurance if you employ or subcontract workers, as required by Lithuanian law
You must provide proof of valid insurance upon registration and promptly update your documentation upon renewal or any material change. The Platform may suspend your account if your insurance lapses or is found to be insufficient. You are solely liable for all damages, injuries, or losses arising from your performance of Work Orders.
13. Compliance with Lithuanian Law
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Lithuania, including but not limited to:
- Business registration and licensing requirements under Lithuanian commercial law
- Tax obligations including income tax, VAT (where applicable), and social insurance contributions under the Lithuanian Tax Code
- Construction and building safety regulations under the Lithuanian Construction Law
- Occupational health and safety requirements
- Anti-money laundering (AML) and anti-corruption legislation
- Consumer protection regulations applicable to service providers
You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any necessary business licenses, trade permits, or regulatory approvals. AFKzona Group MB does not verify or guarantee compliance and accepts no liability for a Contractor’s failure to meet legal requirements.
14. Suspension & Removal
We may suspend or permanently remove your Contractor account in the following circumstances:
- Material breach of these Contractor Terms
- Provision of false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Sustained poor performance (rolling average below 2.5 for three consecutive months)
- Lapsed or insufficient insurance coverage
- Expired or revoked professional licenses or certifications
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct toward Clients, residents, or Platform staff
- Attempting to circumvent the Platform (e.g., soliciting direct payment to avoid Platform Fees)
- Violation of applicable law, including safety or building code violations
- Non-payment of Platform Fees or outstanding financial obligations
In non-urgent cases, we will provide 14 days’ written notice before suspension and an opportunity to remedy the issue. In cases involving safety, fraud, or legal violations, suspension may be immediate. You may appeal a suspension by contacting info@afkzona.lt within 30 days.
15. Termination & Data Handling
Either party may terminate these Contractor Terms at any time with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination:
- You must complete all accepted and in-progress Work Orders or arrange for their orderly transfer
- All outstanding payments for completed Work Orders will be processed in accordance with Section 7
- Any unpaid Platform Fees remain due and payable
- Your profile will be deactivated and will no longer appear in search results or Work Order distribution
- We will retain your data for the minimum period required by applicable law (typically 10 years for financial records under Lithuanian tax law) and for legitimate purposes such as dispute resolution
- Anonymized, aggregated performance data may be retained indefinitely for platform analytics
You may request a complete export of your personal data at any time prior to or following termination by contacting info@afkzona.lt.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a minimum volume of Work Orders, or any specific level of earnings.
- AFKzona Group MB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
- Our total aggregate liability arising under or in connection with these Contractor Terms shall not exceed the total Platform Fees paid by you during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for the actions, omissions, or conduct of Clients, residents, or any third party.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any Work Order information provided by Clients.
Nothing in these Contractor Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
17. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising between a Contractor and a Client regarding a Work Order, the following process applies:
- Step 1 – Direct Resolution: The parties are encouraged to resolve the dispute directly through the Platform’s messaging system within 7 days.
- Step 2 – Platform Mediation: If direct resolution fails, either party may request Platform mediation. Our team will review the Work Order details, communications, and evidence submitted by both parties and issue a non-binding recommendation within 14 business days.
- Step 3 – Formal Resolution: If mediation does not resolve the dispute, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of the Republic of Lithuania or through an alternative dispute resolution body recognized under Lithuanian law.
For disputes between the Contractor and AFKzona Group MB, the parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal remedies. All claims must be brought within 12 months of the event giving rise to the dispute.
18. Governing Law
These Contractor Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Contractor Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Where applicable, EU regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Platform-to-Business Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 shall apply.
19. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Contractor Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or in-platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you do not agree with the revised terms, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect. The current version of these Contractor Terms, along with the effective date and version number, will always be available at /legal/contractor-terms.
